The Wisconsin Lions Camp, a project of the Wisconsin Lions Foundation, is ready to assist your organization in meeting your needs for educational events, recreational activities or trainings. Located in the heart of the state, the Wisconsin Lions Camp will provide you and your group with a great get-away. Imagine a challenging Teambuilding weekend with your staff. Imagine attending a conference with those of similar interests. Imagine a weekend where fun and learning go hand-in-hand on 440 acres of gently rolling hills or snow-covered trails.

Realize it at the Wisconsin Lions Camp

Conveniently located just 16 miles from downtown Stevens Point and only one mile from Rosholt, the Wisconsin Lions Camp, with its quick access to major highways means that we are close by, no matter where you are coming from.

From dark, quiet pine forests to a magnificent Fall “color walk” under maples, the Wisconsin Lions Camp has it all. Our facility, a designated nature preserve, offers guests the chance to see wildlife up close. While walking around the lake, you might see a fox, white-tailed deer or even an owl.
In addition, the Wisconsin Lions Camp has exclusive access to Lions Lake, a natural spring-fed and stream-fed lake. We are proud to offer fully accessible facilities with paved trails throughout the main camp and groomed trails that run throughout our 440-acre property.

Cabins

Our duplex units are designed with the participant in mind. Each unit has two cabins that can accommodate up to 10 people in each, with personal wardrobes for clothing storage. Between the sleeping areas is a comfortable lounge area, which includes a TV/VCR, a microwave and hotel refrigerator as well as fully accessible bathrooms.

All duplex units are winterized and offer air conditioning in the summer months. In duplexes 7 & 8 we offer a quad-plex living style with 5 beds and a bathroom in each of the four rooms. Duplex 9 offers a similar design to our duplex units, however it includes an additional meeting room and recreational activities on the lower level.

Are you a larger group looking to stay close together? Then you should consider our Pinewood Lodge. The Lodge boasts six cabins with a total sleeping capacity of 48, four bathroom facilities with showers, an upstairs lounge with fireplace, a downstairs meeting room capable of seating 70 people and two smaller breakout rooms. A kitchen facility is also available inside the building for a $75.00 per day rental fee for those wanting to cook their own meals.

For program participants looking for a more “rustic” camping experience, we offer RV sites, tepees, shelters and campsites that are available for rent.

The Wisconsin Lions Camp can provide a variety of supplies to enhance your meeting, retreat or conference. Items available upon request include: dry-erase board, easels, DVD player, overhead projector, projection screen, slide projector and TV/VCR. Items available for a small rental fee include: Flip-chart paper, laptop, LCD projector, and a portable PA system. Let us know how you’d like your meeting space arranged and the Wisconsin Lions Camp Staff will have everything ready before you arrive.

For our retreat groups that are smaller in number we offer a widerange of meeting areas. Smaller groups may even choose to use the lounge area in their cabin for meetings that require the utmost in privacy.

For our retreat groups that are mid-size, we offer some of the finest meeting spaces available. From the fireside lounge in the upstairs of Pinewood Lodge to the meeting room in our newly renovated Dining Hall, we can offer comfortable rooms with an eye on elegance.

Large Groups (71 – 179)

For our larger groups, we have a number of spacious areas available. We can match your group to the atmosphere you desire. Large groups may even choose the Rec Shelter for an indoor meeting space with a rustic, outdoor feel.

Exclusive Use (180+)

Groups that are exclusive use automatically have access to all meeting facilities, including the Dining Hall which overlooks Lions Lake. Please call for more information.

Our Food Service Staff takes pride in preparing delicious, nutritious meals. All meals have a vegetarian option available and we will even work to customize a menu based on your special dietary requirements. Homemade desserts as well as fresh fruits and vegetables compliment the menu. Meals are served buffet style in our newly renovated Dining Hall.

Recreation is an important part of any group experience at the Wisconsin Lions Camp. From campfires beside the lake to miles of cross-country ski trails, we have activities that are fun for all ages and abilities.

	The Wisconsin Lions Camp Staff are available to lead a variety of different programs for your group depending on the time of the year. A few of our program options include: campfires, cross-country ski lessons, hayrides, nature hikes, and more. Boating and swimming are offered seasonally.
In the winter, the Wisconsin Lions Camp offers cross-country ski equipment, a lighted sledding hill, snow shoes and more!

The beauty of the environment is ever-present as you walk along Lions Lake or experience a Fall color-walk. With 440 acres to explore, the possibilities are endless.
