Ways to Help

The Wisconsin Lions Camp is funded by the many generous donations made each year to the Wisconsin Lions Foundation, Inc. Each camper week that is provided free-of-charge costs just under $600.00. In 2008, thanks to the generosity of all of many donors, we were able to serve 1,451 campers free-of-charge. These donations help us provide the “adventure of a lifetime” to Wisconsin children and adults with disabilities.

A majority of our funds are raised by the Lions, Lioness and Leo Clubs of the State of Wisconsin who run many of their own fundraisers in their local communities to send money to support the Camp. Other donations come from private donors, families, friends, grants and the three annual fundraisers the Wisconsin Lions Foundation holds.

You can help by visiting the Wisconsin Lions Foundation to learn more and make a donation or by participating in one, two or all three of our annual fundraisers.

 Thank you

13th Annual Birch-Sturm Golf Outing

This is a golf outing we hold to benefit the Wisconsin Lions Foundation’s general operations, which funds the Wisconsin Lions Camp. It will be held Saturday, July 17, 2010 at the Glacier Woods Golf Course in Iola, Wisconsin. You can help us with sponsorships for the Outing. There are two levels of sponsorship.

  1. $100 level – this level of sponsorship gives you signage recognizing your donation at the golf course and recognition in publications for the Wisconsin Lions Foundation.

  1. $600 level - (New this year) – this level of sponsorship gives you signage recognizing your donation at the golf course, a certificate of appreciation for display and a personal thank you note from the camper whose week of camp you sponsored. Sponsors can sponsor a camper from there area and know they made a difference to that one child. Sponsors can also take advantage of the opportunity to sponsor the same camper year after year.

For more information on how to register or to become a sponsor, please contact the Wisconsin Lions Foundation.
