Enrich Your Present CurriculumThe Wisconsin Lions Camp is a full camping facility designed to promote and develop environmental awareness and responsibility through academic, social, community, and outdoor education experiences. Our programs encourage active participation in each study session, including hands-on experiments combined with firsthand experience. In addition to environmental curriculum, schools may choose to include social outcomes in their program. Small study group sizes, along with a comprehensive set of teambuilding activities and positive peer interaction in the cabins will teach students conflict-resolution skills and enhance self-esteem while developing leadership potential.

The Wisconsin Lions Camp is an ideal location to introduce students to the wonders of the natural world. This unique setting is home to a diverse combination of wildlife and ecosystems. While attending an Environmental Education program at the Wisconsin Lions Camp, students will have the opportunity to study aquatic habitats, track deer along the lake's edge and observe a wide range of animals, including hawk, owls, raccoons, turkey and rabbits. Ecosystems available for study include fields, rolling hillsides, coniferous and deciduous forest, two small creeks and 440 acres of wildlife refuge. Our nine duplex units are designed with the participant in mind. Each duplex has two cabins, which includes personal wardrobes for clothing storage. Between the sleeping areas is a comfortable lounge area, complete with a TV/VCR, a microwave, hotel refrigerator and fully accessible bathrooms. All duplex cabins are fully winterized, heated and air-conditioning in the summer months. Smaller school groups that are looking to stay close together should consider our Pinewood Lodge. The Lodge boasts six cabins with a total sleeping capacity of 48, four bathroom facilities with showers, an upstairs lounge with fireplace, a downstairs meeting room capable of seating 70 people and two smaller breakout rooms. A kitchen facility is also available inside the building for a per day rental fee for groups who wish to provide their own meals. In addition, we offer ample indoor meeting space to make our quality programs available fall, winter and spring. Our modern Dining Hall facility offers nutritious, well-balanced meals. All buildings and activity areas are fully handicapped accessible.
